We’re sharing a recent water damage restoration project we tackled here at Texas Certified Restoration. Our team swooped into action when a residential homeowner in Groesbeck, TX, found their home swimming in water chaos.

The Challenge

Upon arrival, we were met with a soggy scene: standing water practically wading through every room. The affected areas included the bedroom, kitchen, living room, entryway, dining room, pantry, closets, back porch, hallway, and laundry room. The water had seeped into various materials like floors, carpets in the closet, entryway, and bedroom, the bed in the bedroom, the drywall section behind the fridge, and sections under furniture in the living room.

Our Approach

Here’s the outline of how we tackled this water damage chaos:

Assessment and Planning: We started with a thorough assessment of the damage, mapping out the affected areas and materials. With a clear plan in place, we set our sights on restoring the home to its former glory.

Water Extraction: Armed with top-notch equipment, including powerful pumps, we quickly got to work extracting the standing water from every nook and cranny. Our goal was to ensure no moisture lingered to invite unwanted guests like mold and mildew.

Drying and Dehumidification: Next up, we brought in heavy-duty air movers and dehumidifiers to start the drying process. These trusty machines worked tirelessly to evaporate moisture from floors, carpets, and walls, leaving no dampness behind.

Moisture Detection: We left no stone unturned in our quest to banish moisture. Our moisture detectors were invaluable in uncovering hidden pockets of water, allowing us to tackle them in no time.

Sanitization: With the water removed, it was time to tackle any lingering germs. We applied a powerful antimicrobial spray to disinfect and sanitize the affected areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for the homeowner.

Satisfied Clients Sporting Wide Smiles

Thanks to our fast and systematic approach, we were able to breathe new life into the Groesbeck home. What was once a soggy nightmare is now a dry, clean haven for its residents to enjoy again. Our clients showed gratitude and satisfaction with a job well done.
